Clay Johnson
CEO, Board Member
Clay Johnson has more than 25 years of experience in semiconductors and development tools. He spent more than sixteen years at Xilinx in a variety of senior management positions. His last position was VP/GM of the General Products Division. Mr. Johnson joined CPU Technology in 2008.

Alan Smith
Chief Technical Officer, Board Member
Alan Smith is responsible for the Architecture Board and Processor Development. He has over twenty years of experience in designing complex processors with C&T, IBM, and JETAS. Mr. Smith is the co-inventor/inventor of many pending and issued patents. He has been a member of the executive team at CPU Tech since its founding.

Gail Walters
Chief Scientist, Corporate Officer
Gail Walters is responsible for all Strategic Development Activities and has been with CPU Tech since 1991. She has held senior level positions in Engineering, Operations, and Business Development. Prior to CPU Tech, Ms. Walters held engineering and management positions with NCR and the US Navy.

Mark Scheitrum
Vice President, Research and Development
Mark Scheitrum is responsible for all engineering program development and advanced research. Prior to CPU Tech, Mr. Scheitrum has held senior management positions at Cadence and Intel.

Stephen Gillis
Vice President, Corporate Services
Stephen Gillis joined CPU Tech in November, 2001, bringing over 20 years experience in all aspects of Human Resources. Prior to CPU Tech, he served as Senior Vice President of HR for DIVA Systems Corporation. Previously, Mr. Gillis held executive level positions at NetManage, and Weitek Corporation.

Richard Kessinger
Vice President, Advanced Systems
Richard Kessinger joined CPU Tech in 1994. He was previously employed by Lockheed Missiles and Space Company, Planning Research Corporations and Softech, Inc. leading business development activities for defense and space programs.

Brad Dyer
Vice President, Operations
Prior to joining CPU Tech, Brad Dyer held management positions at Alloptic, DIVA Systems and Lockheed Martin Corporation. He has more than twenty-three years of system development and technical program management experience. Mr. Dyer holds an M.S. degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University.

Robert Mauer
Vice President, Business Development
Prior to joining CPU Tech, Robert Mauer held the position of Vice President and General Manager at Metratek, Inc., a firm that designs / builds radar imaging systems for signature verification and remote sensing applications. Mr. Mauer also held executive management positions at Softech Inc., Planning Research Corporation, DynCorp and Ebasco Services. Mr. Mauer received his MBA in Management and Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Robert Beanland
Vice President, Marketing
Robert Beanland is responsibile for all strategic and product marketing activities for CPU Tech. Prior to joining CPU Tech, he was Director of HLD Simulation at Synopsys responsible for the VCS product line. Robert brings over 20 years of experience in marketing, sales and support activities with Intel, Synopsys and Viewlogic / Innoveda.

Chris Doerpinghaus
Vice President, Finance and Administration
Chris has more than 20 years of experience in financial management at both private and public companies. Prior to joining CPU Tech in 2004, Doerpinghaus held management positions with Metro-Optix, Phase Metrics, Cirrus Logic, and NCR Corporation. Doerpinghaus holds an MBA from Indiana University.

Pat Hays
Vice President, Acalis Business Unit
Pat is responsible for the Acalis semiconductor business unit. Prior to CPU Tech Pat was vice president of engineering at MIPS Technologies. He is a leading developer of real-time processors with over 25 years of semiconductor experience.
