ISO 9001:2000 Certified Organization

CPU Technology, Inc., is proud to be among those organizations certified to meet the rigid operational and quality standards specified by the International Standards Organization (ISO).

ISO 9001:2000 certification requires that every aspect of an organization’s design, development, production, installation, and service meet quality and performance standards set up by the International Standards Organization (ISO). CPU TECH’s ISO 9001:2000 certification further validates the company’s commitment to the continuing process of quality and systems management improvement.

SBA Award for Excellence

CPU Tech was nominated by Honeywell Defense Avionics Systems in Albuquerque, NM, for the Small Business Subcontractor of the Year award, presented annually by the Small Business Administration.

This award is to honor small businesses that, as subcontractors, have provided the federal government with outstanding goods and services. Factors considered in the nomination include excellence in overall management, financial stamina, technical capabilities, cost, quality and delivery of performance and exceptional results. Both regional and national winners are selected, and all nominees are honored at an awards ceremony during the SBA annual spring conference.

Office of Naval Research Dual Use Science
and Technology Achievement Award

The Company was presented this award at the Department of Defense Office of Technology Transition "Commercial Technology for the Warfighter Conference" in McLean, VA.

The award recognizes CPU Tech´s achievement in developing a family of configurable processor frameworks that allow processors and systems on a chip to be quickly and cost-effectively configured to any instruction set. This means that existing embedded computers can be modernized using modern open standard commercial technology without any changes to valuable proven software. This technology not only provides a means of cost-effectively upgrading vital electronic systems but also makes it possible to reduce the cost of maintaining them into the future. The company is currently applying this technology as part of major electronic modernization programs for several widely-used airborne computers.

Honeywell Excellent Supplier Award

CPU Tech received a rating of "Excellent Performance" in Honeywell Defense Aviation Systems´ Performance Evaluation Report for Development Project Suppliers.

CPU Tech supplies CPU1750A-60 systems-on-a-chip for the Honeywell color programmable display generator for the Air Force´s F-16 CCIP upgrade program.

Honeywell´s Evaluation Report provides an overall rating for the criteria of "Commitment (to Honeywell success)," Competency (Technical and Functional)," and "Capabilities (and Resources)." Expanded detail for each of the three criteria include "Responsive to change," "Knowledge and willingness to diagnose and solve problems," and "Meets commitments." CPU Tech´s performance was rated Excellent in all categories.
