CPU TECH Receives U.S. Patent for Parallel Processor

PLEASANTON, California -- CPU Technology, Inc. has received U.S. patent 5,652,907 for its miniaturized parallel process or --a single chip multiprocessor capable of interoperations between threads in a single clock cycle.

The technology patented enables fine granularity bit merge operations to occur in a single clock cycle. One of the benefits of this invention is that decision trees can be processed in 1/100th of the time. This patent is the fifth in the instruction level parallel processing area for CPU TECH.
