| CPU Technology Licenses Verification Suite to Texas Instruments
PLEASANTON, California--CPU Technology, Inc. announced that Texas Instruments Incorporated has acquired their test suite of verification programs --called Behavioral Verification Technology™ --to design future generations of high quality, industry-standard semiconductors. Behavioral Verification Technology (BVT) is the most sophisticated process available in the industry for validating compatibility. It produces measurable and repeatable compatibility reports which compare test results with expected results. Time-to-market is reduced because BVT's speed and accuracy shorten design cycles. In addition to semiconductors, BVT can be applied to any software or system with defined specifications and measurable results. Texas Instruments benefits by incorporating BVT into its design cycle. George Barber, vice president of the Texas Instruments Semiconductor Group said, "Using CPU Technology's BVT during the design cycle can help Texas Instruments reduce time-to-market and increase our level of quality." |
